The Edgewater Artist in Motion (EAIM) Board is comprised of all non-paid volunteers.
marcy kennedy anderson - Director
Marcy was born and raised in Alton, IL and moved to Chicago in 2001 to receive her BFA in Painting and Drawing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2003. She has been active in the art community ever since, showing her work in galleries throughout Chicago, painting murals, and participating in public projects such as “Horses of Honor,” an art exhibit benefitting fallen police officers.
Marcy became an active member of Edgewater Artists in Motion in 2015 and assisted Jessica Q. Lucas in curating window exhibits in vacant CTA spaces in the Edgewater neighborhood. In order to add more interest in the project, she did live painting on one of her Horses of Honor in the window of a vacant space and built a pop-up diner art installation on Granville in another.
In 2016, she co-founded “Random Acts of Gallery” with Jessica Q. Lucas, who had similar ideals and an equal passion for finding a way to bring artists together to efficiently pool their resources. Random Acts of Gallery curated monthly group shows in businesses that had vacant wall space, such as Empirical Brewery, The Drop Lounge, and Glessner House.
Marcy is currently the Creative Director at Urban Brew Labs Brewery in West Andersonville and handles their marketing and events. She continues to organize monthly 2D art exhibits at their taproom.

Seeker of everyday magic. Lorena is inspired by moments that blend light with poetry and everyday is an opportunity to collect images that reveal the beauty around her. She hopes her images convey the emotions she feels, “a lightness of being”, when she clicks the shutter.

Kevin Flynn - President
Kevin Flynn was born less than 5 miles from the Festival site, and has been nearby ever since. A product of a Chicago Public Elementary School and Chicago Private High School, he has been immersed in what is Chicago from day one. His art reflects that with a vast majority of it focused on iconic Chicago scenes, both old and new. That's what he loves so much about his city, it is an ever changing tapestry of great designers trying to push envelopes and make their mark on architectural and urban landscapes.
Kevin spent 22 years at the Chicago Board of Trade, starting as a runner, and moving up to an independent trader in the Dow Jones Industrial and 30 Year U.S. Treasury Bond pits, as well as a trader and Co-Chairman of the German Bund Futures pit. After leaving the CBOT, Kevin returned to school to finish his undergrad and get a BA in Elementary Education from which he is still a certified K-9 IL teacher, and then an MBA in Marketing. He then went on to volunteer full time on the Obama 2008 campaign at the national HQ in Chicago, managing 20 state blogs, the daily news for the national blog, and a myriad of social media activities. He went on to do some speaking engagements and interviews for inclusion in magazine and book stories on the campaign. From there Kevin moved on to the next chapter in his life and his first corporate job at Motorola, where he has been ever since.
Moving into the Edgewater neighborhood, literally on the Fest route, Kevin began his photography journey. Printing out a few pieces to have something on his walls. Friends commenting that it was cool. Printing more, going to places to be shown. His love for the Chicago and its' beautiful cityscapes propelled him to do more and more work and get into more and more locations and shows over the years. He is very excited to be an artist and to be part of such an exciting community of artists and in a neighborhood that is becoming more and more "artsy" all the time.
