Michael grew up on a small farm and spent his childhood in the outdoors. When he moved to Chicago, he became fascinated with the interaction between urban and natural environments. His artistic work primarily explores the role of nature in Chicago, with an appreciation of the moments and patterns that weave through our daily life.
Since 2013, Michael has also operated his own photography business, using his talents to help nonprofits and local businesses with a variety of photographic needs.
