Tracy's photo art celebrates discoveries of surprising perspectives in our natural and man-made world, especially the play of light and shadow. Rather than “taking pictures”, Tracy tunes into flashes of perception and let the images find her. Tracy grew up in Germany and has lived in Chicago since 1972. When she moved to Edgewater in 2005, photography evolved from a lifelong passion into a new creative calling. Tracy is a founding member of Edgewater Artists in Motion and other neighborhood initiatives designed to make art accessible and affordable.
